Many thanks to Marco, Catia and Elisabetta of Umbria Quality House for their invaluable assistance in locating a house for us in Umbria. They found us exactly what we were looking for after only a few visits and made the entire process very easy from making the initial offer all the way to the final contract signing. Since the property was under construction, they acted as our liaison with the seller and builder helping us to make finish selections and design choices all the way from the US as well as helping us to secure a loan through an Italian mortgage broker. On top of all that, they also assisted us with completing some extra construction work with local tradesmen AND even helped us furnish the house by taking us to wonderful stores, translating for us and coordinating the deliveries. We could not have realized our dream to own a house in Italy without them!

Umbria Quality House made our house hunting in Umbria a real pleasure and joy. Marco was willing to show us any house that caught our eye or interest and Catia totally and competently handled the office while we were out with Marco. Luckily, Marco was willing to put up with my terrible Italian or else Catia, with her excellent command of both languages would have been out riding the roads with my husband and I, Marco and Jack. Dear Catia: There is not enough that can be said about the quality of your service and helpfulness. Our house was exactly as represented, and even though I drove you mad with questions, you were unfailingly pleasant and truthful. Umbria is gorgeous and our entire family is just waiting for another opportunity to come again. Our hosts were thoughtful and went out of their way to make our 50th wedding anniversary special and memorable. A year later, our family still talks about our trip non-stop and the youngsters refer to Villa Santa Maria as "our house." Your referrals were perfect and exactly as represented. God willing, we will be back.

My experience with Umbria Quality House and their wonderful staff seemed at first almost too good to be true. After inserting my name one night on their website to receive details of a property on Lake Trasimeno, I immediately received a phone call from Catia the next morning, speaking perfect English, and being most courteous and helpful. A visit to see the property was arranged within 48 hours, and they even booked the hotel in Perugia. They picked me up there one fine Sunday morning, and I was immediately struck by their friendly demeanour and how they put you totally at ease—not always the case with real estate agents! The property (on which I later built a house from scratch) was divine, and I needed to look no further. They helped me with all aspects of the purchase and I felt very secure in what I was doing. They were totally honest and open, and we have stayed good friends. I have nothing but praise for their work, and recommend them unreservedly.
